Fly of the Week: Muddler Minnow

The Muddler Minnow is a great little general pattern that every fly fisher should have in their arsenal. While it can be a pain to tie (dang stacked deer hair!!) once you get it down, your good to go on a lot of other patterns that require that dreaded deer hair.

Hook: Size 8 Streamer
Tail: Mottled Turkey Quill
Body: Gold Tinsel
Wings: White Calftail/ Mottled Turkey Quill
Collar and Head: Gray Deer Belly Hair
